On the Last Saturday of 2017, December 30th, I started to feel the scratchy, thick, hoarse and heavy throat symptoms. ,p> I used an 100% Essential oil-blend from Wal*Mart.

I used Robitussin DM and it seemed to help. Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant. Guaifenesin loosens mucus.

One thing I started to do years ago is when a cold starts I using nasal saline. I lie down, tilt my head back and put the saline in. Stay there as long as I can. Then blow my nose. It keeps a lot of the gunk that normally would slide down into my lungs out.

Both the wife and I got the quad flu shot. My wife has been in the hospital three days already and still hasn't left the emergency area. The ER Dr says test was negative and it is not the flu, he also says several others like that at the Hospital.

They are treating her with anti fungal, anti viral, three different anti biotics and steroids for her breathing plus a whole list of can't pronounce drugs. I think they are trying a shotgun approach since they have no clue what it is.

Now it has hit me and oh my God is it bad, I'll see our regular Dr tomorrow I hope.

After 43 years I'm quite lost without her and worried sick. Still don't know what this crap is.
