Hey Judicial branch - How does this even work? I thought DACA sunsetted if Trump does not sign an extension - am I confused or is the Judicial branch of the Fed Govt just an extension of the DNC and GOPee?

"According to the New York Times, Donald Trump is calling on Congress to replace the policy with legislation before it fully expires on March 5, 2018. The move puts a six-month expiration date on legal protections granted to roughly 800,000 “DREAMers” who entered U.S. as minors.

Hey Judicial branch - How does this even work?

District Judge from California issued an order that said he could not discontinue it. Homeland is now renewing the DACA kids.

NBC: If Trump wants a big immigration deal now, he'll have to "give a lot more to both Democrats and Republicans who want a more compassionate approach," said Ali Noorani, executive director of the advocacy group National Immigration Forum. "He's going to lose leverage in this negotiation."

More likely he doesn't want "a big immigration deal." I think he knew what the sh**hole comment would do. Maybe he wanted conservatives to stop worrying he would sell out. But after he said he wanted a deal, he can blame congress for the dead DACA.
