With all due respect to the South, I've long held that the two poorest applications of the noble corn plant are:
Grits (My very first Navy meal on entering Boot Camp and the last time I'd touch it with a ten-foot pole.)
Ethanol used as a motor fuel (Although this late entry should properly be the first mentioned here....)

Yum, key lime pie.....especially when made with Margarita Mix. The best in the west. Key West that is!!
