The March 18, 2018 "deadline" relates to the routine expiration of paroled status for the illegal immigrant.
[DHS] Will adjudicate--on an individual, case by case basis--properly filed pending DACA renewal requests and associated applications for Employment Authorization Documents from current beneficiaries that have been accepted by the Department as of the date of this memorandum, and from current beneficiaries whose benefits will expire between the date of this memorandum and March 5, 2018 that have been accepted by the Department as of October 5, 2017.
Huh? Thanks for the clarification. It's bad enough that I was thinking that Barack Obama, International Man of Mystery, did this with his pen and his phone, but if the entire DACA charade is based on the same clowns that run TSA making up a rule to avoid enforcing existing laws, that is even worse. I miss those ABC infomercial cartoons that explained how our government is supposed to work. Maybe somebody slip a few of those into the sexual harassment classes that members of congress are supposed to attend now.
