Ironically, an immigration policy that let's one group show favoritism over another is about as racist as you can get. This is exactly what the dems are advocating. They want to control elections buy using our money to bring in voters who vote their way. Their take is if you can get across the border legally or not you deserve every right of a citizen.
This is a racist policy and needs to be stopped.
To say that anyone from Central America or anywhere else that can come across the border either legally or not is allowed citizenship and the rest of the world is not is truly racist and un-American.
Perhaps four billion out of the eight billion citizens of the world would like to live in the US.We can not take them all for obvious reasons.
I believe what Trump is looking for is a fair and equal immigration policy that will help the Country not help destroy it.
If we are taking in over a million legals or illegals now and we probably need to cut that figure to 100,000 per year for a while to catch up to what we can afford and what we can't we need to determine which 100k to let in. Do we want the dumbest and most neediest on the planet or the most productive. Do we want those who can help the USA and not bring it down.
The answer is simple, getting it into law a lot tougher. The dems are experts at lying about obvious truths. If we don't stop the lies and soon the dollar will be worthless and the country ruined.
The average immigrant household consumes 33 percent more cash welfare, 57 percent more food assistance, and 44 percent more Medicaid dollars than the average native household. Housing costs are about the same for both groups.
At $8,251, households headed by immigrants from Central America and Mexico have the highest welfare costs of any sending region 86 percent higher than the costs of native households.
Illegal immigrant households cost an average of $5,692 (driven largely by the presence of U.S.-born children), while legal immigrant households cost $6,378.
The greater consumption of welfare dollars by immigrants can be explained in large part by their lower level of education and larger number of children compared to natives. Over 24 percent of immigrant households are headed by a high school dropout, compared to just 8 percent of native households. In addition, 13 percent of immigrant households have three or more children, vs. just 6 percent of native households.
Very well said Rod. BUMP!
This issue boils down to two things: Standards and vetting.
....an immigration policy that let’s one group show favoritism over another is about as racist as you can get...
The racist and bigots of the progressive marxists prefer the brown and black over the Red and Blonde hair folks from Norway.
I do not understand why they wish to block red hair and blonde hair folks moving from Norway to America
