Here's another Comment I made on a different thread that might interest you...

I repeat - there is no Trump Executive Order revoking DACA.

DACA has been in full effect since Trump's first day as president, and it will continue to be in full effect until at least March 2018.

In addition, DACAs who need renewal after March 2018 were allowed to submit early renewals, but there is no guarantee that DHS will be able to process all the early renewals before March.

In addition, Trump copied Obama’s original language almost word for word concerning what will happen to the "expired" DACAs after March 2018...

“I have advised the Department of Homeland Security that DACA recipients are not enforcement priorities unless they are criminals, are involved in criminal activity, or are members of a gang.”

In other words, absolutely nothing is going to happen to the DACA kids after March 2018, unless they commit a felony.

Why did all this happen now?

Ten state attorney generals filed suit against Obama and DACA. I can't recall the date.

After the election, Trump jive talked the attorney generals into suspending their lawsuit.

In September 2017, the A.Gs. got tired of Trump's DACA bs and threatened to re-file.

Trump had two choices: (1) Go to court and defend Obama’s Executive Order, or (2) Write his own Executive Order that revokes Obama’s DACA E.O.

Trump stalls.

Trump orders Sessions to “advise” the Department of Homeland Security to “rescind” DACA.

A federal judge in San Francisco says “F” that noise. The judge says Obama’s DACA is still in force until Trump revokes it with a new E.O.

Trump will never sign an E.O. that revokes DACA, unless he can gain some propaganda value from it.

And if he does revoke it, he will not deport any DACA kids or DAPA parents who have not committed felonies.
