I don’t understand how Graham does not get defeated for the Republican senate nomination in South Carolina. He must be a alien species in SC Republican circles
Once again, it is my sad duty as a South Carolinian to point out that our open primary system (like `open borders’) allows hordes of Democrats to vote for the Republican of their choice.
And every election year several well-meaning but disorganized conservatives step into the breach to disnominate Lindsey but only wind up fragmenting the conservative vote piecemeal & allowing Tinkerbelle to sail to another renomination where state Republican voters will hold their noses & vote against the Democrat.
Not me. I’ve voted against Flimsey ever since I voted for him in 2002 as Strom Thurmond’s heir & regretted it. I thought, if he is reelected by only a whisker he might listen to the conservative majority. I was sadly mistaken.
No, he’s standard issue. All of SC’s Congressional delegation are cheap labor importers.
