Sorry.

I do text-only downloads because I’m in a bandwidth-poor country....Unless of course it’s a topic that peaks the interest of Laz. Then I’ll splurge on a few pictures.

Oh! Sorry. I failed to notice the geographical hint in your username. But yes. The video shows a bull. I also see that the article excerpted from the U.K. Daily Mail mentions a "cow." ;-)

The U.S.A. is also bandwidth-poor in many rural areas for lack of competition between ISPs (satellite or cellular only with long term contracts). Fiber lines go right through towns but only for telephone service. Videos work, but customers unable to pay well over $100 per month must allow the videos to cache for some time before viewing or download slowly and delete. Services in the cities are much faster and less expensive (free WiFi near some public libraries in some deteriorating cities).

On Venezuela, between the long standing corruption and more recently low oil prices, life is horrible there. It was always bad for most, but its far worse for many more now.

Having worked many temporary jobs, I’ve worked with many people from countries south of our southern border. Many of the construction and manufacturing workers were easy to get along with and sometimes very informative about their countries of origin.

Most of those in administrative offices, however, were either fascists or communists and very anti-American only in the presence of Americans like myself: that is, men who were not in management, especially those of us with prior enlisted military service. It seemed that they perceived us as being peasants.
