Possibly related to his recent statements to the press (WP) that it would quote “break his heart” if Intelligence Committee chairman Devin Nunes continued to question the DOJ, where Gowdy used to work. Not to mention, Nunes had been sidelined for months, while Gowdy’s committee conducted an ethics investigation against Nunes. Good for Nunes I say. He appears to be the actual bulldog in Congress that we were led to believe Gowdy was.
