And you’d be perfectly okay with having no way to take control of the vehicle if it’s guidance and control systems malfunctioned? No steering wheel and no brake pedal means you are completely at the mercy of those systems.

No offense, but I find it hard to believe that someone who owns and drives a Z06 (or any other high performance vehicle) would be amenable to divesting himself of all control over his vehicle.

Depends on the purpose. I have no problem getting on an airplane, even if I am not in the cockpit flying it. The Z06 is great for autocross or just blasting down the road, but my work car (a Volt) is more of a tool. I see it the way a tech sees a screwdriver.
