Those countries qualify,IMO,as $hitholes.However,there one small suburb of Johannesburg,called Sandton,in which we stayed a few years ago and is,IMO,reminiscent of the wealthy parts of Southern California I've seen (Palos Verdes Estates,for example).
So in the parts of Africa I've visited only about 5 square miles doesn't qualify for that classification.
The only s-list country I’ve visited is El Salvador. It’s definitely a s-hole.
But I’ve also been to Nicaragua which is clearly a s-hole but not on Trump’s s-list. I’ve also been to other non-s-list countries that have large s-hole areas. Countries like China, Paraguay, Brazil, and Mexico are not official s-holes, but have large s-hole regions. /s-
