I spent two weeks in Haiti in 1984. It was a shithole at the time. I have friends still connected to Haitian missionary work - and Haiti is a bigger shithole now after the earthquake (that, in true “never waste a crisis” mode, the Clintons used to fleece donors and the Haitian government of foreign aid).
This is not the same as calling the people of Haiti names - they are poor and subsist (not “live”) under chronically corrupt governments. Aided and abetted by American politicians (aka the Clinton clan) that ensure they forever remain so.
Verdant hills do not a prosperous country make.
Well, ya know, The Clinton Foundation keeps what, 90%, of the donations?
I would think the people of Haiti are ready to go after them with pitchforks and torches.
