I am pretty sure out abortion rate is a lot lower than that of the American one.
Maybe, though any of these rates is too high.
I've said something like this before and will say it again: any culture with "safe," legal, and common abortions isn't very cultured, no matter how shiny the houses are or how clean the toilets are.
(In other words, the question of whether the United States is a "Christian country" is more complicated than a simple "yes" or "no." It may be what some people call "culturally Christian," no pun intended, but our laws should follow our professions.)
