President Donald Trump has mistakenly said the US sold Norway fighter jets that exist only in a video game.
He said that "F-52s", a fictional warplane from Call of Duty, had been exported to the Scandinavian country.
The slip of the tongue came as he hosted Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg at the White House.
Lockheed Martin, the defence contractor that makes the actual aircraft sent to Norway, said it did not have an F-52 programme, reports the Washington Post.

He specifically said F-35 and F-52 in the same sentence. Maybe he meant B-52? (Which are not being sold, lest anyone worry).

Typical of the press instead of just saying it was a verbal gaffe they have to make up this whole thing about the Call of Duty game and imply that Trump gets his information from the Call of Duty games and he’s too stupid to realize it.

As usual, liberals have selective outrage.
I don’t see why we don’t outfit B52s as F52s. Load them up with a few dozen AAMRAMs and have them stand off and blot anything within a hundred miles out of the sky. Not very sporting, but effective.
Pretty slick of him to sell them a video game jet.

-The F-52 has a 100% readiness rate.
-The F-52 has a 100% safety record.
At their level of air operations would they even notice?
