The media is lost to us.....for sure. It’s dangerous on many levels.
“The media is lost to us.....for sure. Its dangerous on many levels.”
I’m sorry for the grammatical errors in my last post, but I feel very strongly about this issue, and I sometimes don’t adequately review my posts as I get wrapped up in the emotion of the topic.
Paraphrasing the iconic quote, ‘most people live lives of quiet desperation’. That doesn’t mean they are stupid, or less intellectual than the self-convinced progeny of elite universities (where I’ve squandered much of my life). What it means is that life is difficult, in the best of circumstances, and we all struggle to find happiness and meaning. In that context, most people do not have the time to substantively evaluate ‘the news’ and the political events occurring around them. The cynical and opportunist ‘elite’ take advantage of this ‘preoccupation of the masses’, and take it upon themselves to ‘inform’ them - with an incredible and unethical modicum of bias.
The world would be so much better off if honesty prevailed - but it absolutely doesn’t.
