Amazing how when a person like Trump speaks the truth, so many people have hissy fits.
My wife and I watched this on the news about an hour ago. I told her that Trump only said what most people thing, probably including most liberals. My wife is a liberal, who immigrated legally to the US decades ago, she laughed and said, “even I ask that, and I come from one of those shithole countries.”
You will be considered a racist if you are against having people come here from a country they managed to turn into a S#!thole. We certainly are not taking in “brain drain” immigrants like Einstein or Von Braun. We are taking in leaches to suck up the tax payers money and criminal invaders to set up their crime networks. Immigration is fine, but you must be selective to make sure we get the kind of people who are willing to contribute, and not to come only for the freebees. WE don’t need your help to turn the USA into a s#!thole, if you want that, go to California.

I caught a glimpse of the Times article, and it seems that the lawmakers want to assign special protective status to certain people from third world hellholes.
Now, someone has got to explain to me how insufferably stupid these politicians can be.
