Thanks. FYI: if ever you see any Walmart / Sam’s Club closures in Arkansas, then you know the chain is in serious trouble.

A lot of the stores are in high tax states - CA, IL, NJ, NY - coincidence?

Same general range of states and locations as the recent Sears-KMart closures.

1. Less new illegal alien/welfare state shoppers = fewer shoppers and no growth expected in these locations.
2. Excessive theft and losses = no profits in these locations from those who do go in the stores in these locations

Six of the stores in Illinois GREAT JOB Illinois so typical!!! 4 in NY, I bet there will be more in CA. VERY SOON!!! We have a Sam’s and a Walmart super center in SAME parking lot bet they will close that Sam’s as soon as they can, could never understand the reasoning behind that WHY would anyone pay a membership fee when they can just go to Walmart super center!!! Costco is about a block away STUPID planning on their part!!! CA. is also going to 15.00 an hour min. wage which started the first of last year being done in stages!!!! Our state should be attracting MORE illegals than we ALREADY HAVE if that is possible!!!!
