Interesting...and logical. If controlling immigration isn’t permitted by EU rules, it’s difficult to see how Poland, or any Eastern European country, stays in the EU.

But the next step for them is the open question. They can sit there alone in Eastern Europe or they can VOLUNTARILY work with Russia. Poland’s history with Russia is a bit ‘checkered’, to the say the least, but can those countries go it alone without Russia? I don’t think so...although the NeverTrumper crowd still here can’t see them teaming with Russia.

Time will tell.
