US slaps highest-level 'do not travel' warning on five Mexican states...

All five states -- Tamaulipas on the U.S. border and Sinaloa, Colima, Michoacan and Guerrero on the Pacific coast -- are hotspots of drug cartel activity, either hosting trafficking routes or extensive drug-crop cultivation.

The new warning system designates the states as a "level 4" risk, the highest level of potential danger. Mexico as a whole has a level 2 rating, meaning Americans should "exercise increased caution" because of concerns about crime. But an additional 11 Mexican states got a level 3 warning Wednesday, which urges people to "reconsider travel" there. Mexico has 31 states in all.

Those states where Americans are urged to reconsider travel include the State of Mexico - Mexico's most populous state, which includes most suburbs of Mexico City - and Jalisco, home to the city of Guadalajara, the Puerto Vallarta resorts and the lakeside expat community of Chapala and Ajijic.

All of Mexico has been on my do-not-travel list for 35 years after they stole my hubcaps and I had to by them back in Santa Ana.

We apparently need to invade Mexico to make it great again.

And make it a magnet country for Kexicans.

As I see folks are on their own if they venture to the Country. I wouldn’t go there for any reason.

Does this mean that the Mexico Life Show on HGTV will be renamed “Part of Mexico Life”?

Why would Americans even want to travel outside the U.S. anymore? There’s nothing to see that you can’t find here, with less Islamic terrorists and drug gangs wanting to kidnap or kill you and your family.

I wouldn’t put it past Mexicos leaders to sustain conflict on their border just to interfer with building of the wall.

Those who consider themselves ‘citizens of the world’ see no boundaries.....and of course muslims don’t recognize boundaries. And the left believes they’re entitled to travel when and where they desire.

People have a false sense of security in traveling these days....it’s going to happen to someone else..not to them.

Heck I don’t go out after dark unless I’m with someone anymore. And I live in a supposed safe area!

What you describe is a Leech! Surely Mexico would not be offended by the comparison.

Like other mistakes made by the US through war, the Mexican-American war that reached down to Mexico City was another error to give it back. We could have owned that country and made it into a prosperous free nation with all their resources.

Of course not being an imperialistic nation, those we fight and win, we give back ...not to mention help rebuild. Personally, I think Germany, Japan, and Italy should be USA territorial lands, much like Guam and others. Why the USA gives those nations sovereignty back after attacking us is beyond my understanding. That is the whole of the Israeli/Palistinian issue. Israel won those lands fair and square after numerous wars with the Arabs nations.

I don’t go out after dark anymore either (usually). The lack of sunlight brings out the weird types and amateur astronomers. The full moon brings out more of the weird types because the latter hate a full moon.

"...how come Mexico isn’t on the UN’s Human Trafficking list?"

Simple. The UN "Human Rights Council" is top heavy with nations that abuse Human Rights. There is hardly a quarter go by that council doesn't put out a resolution condemning Israel of human rights violations, while the Palis lob rockets at the peaceful western loving citizens. It is the most worthless part of the UN org and backed by Jew hating tyrants.
