Mueller adds veteran cyber prosecutor to special-counsel team

Special counsel Robert S. Mueller III has added a veteran cyber prosecutor to his team, filling what has long been a gap in expertise and potentially signaling a recent focus on computer crimes.

Ryan K. Dickey was assigned to Mueller’s team in early November from the Justice Department’s computer crime and intellectual-property section, said a spokesman for the special counsel’s office. He joined 16 other lawyers who are highly respected by their peers but who have come under fire from Republicans wary of some of their political contributions to Democrats.

Dickey’s addition is particularly notable because he is the first publicly known member of the team specializing solely in cyber issues. The others’ expertise is mainly in a variety of white-collar crimes, including fraud, money laundering and public corruption, though Mueller also has appellate specialists and one of the government’s foremost experts in criminal law.

Dickey hired in November but we're only hearing about it now.

Also, no indication that dirty cop Mueller has demanded the DNC turn over the "hacked" server for independent forensic analysis.

So much for Trump’s lawyers saying this investigation is going to end soon.

If he did that he'd find his butt out on the sidewalk so fast, he'd be shaking his head and saying "what happened?"

How’s he going to investigate the DNC server without access?

How’s he going to investigate Hillary’s server that was already wiped?

Now, he adds an IT expert? For what reason? To continue the bogus “Russia collusion” witch hunt? Or to cover his ass with all the weekly revelations about the DOJ/FBI corruption and malfeasance and the newly re-opened FBI investigations of Hillary e-mails and the Clinton Foundation? Very curious...

Evne if he hires an army of CPAs to prolong the investigation, he won’t outrun the tsunami headed for him.

He was assigned in early November. The Washington Post reports on it January 10. The information obviously came from Mueller’s group. Just one more leak fed to the media to keep the Mueller investigation in the news.

Democrats having second thoughts?

Frmr Clinton Campaign Manager Mook: I Don’t Think the Russia Investigation Is a Winning Message for 2018

......on “CNN Newsroom,” former 2016 Hillary Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook weighed in on the 2018 midterm election and argued that he didn’t think the Russia investigation was “a winning message.”

Mook said, “I don’t think the Russia investigation is a winning message. Voters are — they watch, and they look to see what your priorities seem to be, what you’re spending your time on and what your focus is.”

He continued, “This is why the Republicans are looking to have a fight over immigration. They want to send a signal to voters that Democrats are not focused on the voters. They’re focused on immigration and that sort of thing and, obviously, it’s an important issue, but the Republicans see that as a helpful wedge for their base."

" I think Democrats need to run on what everybody always needs to run on, which is—what are you doing for the voters, what’s in it for them, how will you help their lives?

Meanwhile, the DNC servers, supposedly “hacked” by the Russians, have never been examined by the FBI. In fact, the FBI allowed the DNC to hire its own contractor to “look” at them.

This is why, despite AL, I am extremely optimistic for House GAINS in 2018 and certainly Senate gains.

Ds have not done one thing to improve the lives of Americans. Not one.

The RATs focus and top priority should be on staying out of prison for corruption, money laundering, treason, politicizing the FBI, DOJ, State Department, IRS, EPA, and the list goes on would be my first thought; what’s yours?

The rats are believing their own PR again. Their media complex is doing them a huge disfavor.

This immigration thing is going to kill them in 2008.

I heard somewhere that Mueller is getting $1500 per hour.
That’s around $60,000 per week by my math.
Easy to see why he’s milking this cow.
