Sorry, just because you get divorced. It survives even death.

Apparently, they've heard of the new investigations gearing up. Whoever initiated this CYA move is the one most concerned about a Grand Jury indictment.
Taking bets on Huma or the Perv. I'm giving 3 to 1 odds it was Huma.

Spousal privilege... They can’t testify against each other. Clear as the nose on Huma’s face.

Total frauds.Yes, she seems to have decided to follow her "mentor's" model and stay with the jackass no matter what. Hillary did it for political purposes; why Huma is doing the same thing is a question I can't answer.

My first thought exactly!
Spousal privilege has new meaning with the revelation that Huma had Secret e-mail backed up on his computer. Unless the Obama Justice department immunized her (and I’m not putting it past them) - she is facing some difficulty, and the ability to make him unable to testify about their spousal communications could make her prosecution harder.

husband and wife can’t be made to testify against each other, that’s why they called off the divorce.

My understanding is that a husband cannot be compelled to testify against his wife, but that he can choose to testify against her.

See my post #104. It's pretty obvious they are fearful this new investigation into Hillary's email scandal will not be conducted by the old Comey corrupted FBI.
With all the new revelations every week showing who were the bad actors in DOJ/FBI, you can bet those still in place will conduct honest investigations to cover themselves.
I fully expect a Grand Jury in place by this summer, if not earlier. I also believe that Pres. Trump and AG Sessions has been playing rope-a-dope with the left-overs. Forget the useless Congressional investigations, they never amount to anything. Focus on the FBI re-opened investigations. This will be a fun year.
Here's my prediction: Huma or Perve will be indicted as will Hillary. Obama will not be - there's too much distance between him and Hillary's crimes. Hillary will copt a deal and get off with a slap on the wrist. Regarding Huma or Perve, whomever gets the first deal will turn state's evidence and voluntarily testify against the other. My bet is the Perve, since he doesn't want more jail time. Huma will do short time or probation. There will be others lower down the Hillary crime pole indicted.
Of course, then there's the new Clinton Foundation investigation by the FBI. Providing "pay-for-pay" is likely to be proven, more immunity deals and more heads roll. Of course, original trials and appeals will be drawn out for years, but the Clinton machine will finally face the music.

The non-divorce has nothing to do with love. It has to do with a spouse not being able to be compelled to testify against their spouse. Both have committed s lot of crimes that the other is aware of.
