It has been speculated that the reason why God allowed the innocent children of Sodom, the towns that the Israelites were commanded to conquer and leave none alive etc., was a grace on God’s part. Because in the hands of their own people they would become as corrupted and sinful and given over to lusts beyon reason. What many have accused God of as being cruelty, was actually a mercy.
I am confident that God is merciful. I am also confident that making sense of God’s mercy in many circumstances is well beyond my abilities. This is one of many lessons that can be drawn from the book of Job.

On August 17, 2011 a symposium sponsored by an association of mental health professionals called B4U-ACT took place in Baltimore, Md. The official brochure declared:“This day long symposium will facilitate the exchange of ideas among researchers, scholars, mental health practitioners, and minor-attracted persons who have an interest in critical issues surrounding the entry for pedophilia in the Diagnostic Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) of the American Psychiatric Association.”
In plain English, this is a symposium whose goal is to facilitate the removal of Pedophilia from the American Psychiatric Societies official list of Mental Disorders (DSM). B4U-ACT has already coined a bland, innocuous, and inoffensive term to make the idea of child-sex more palatable: “minor-attracted persons.“ This phrase sounds almost pleasant, distinctly unlike those nasty and soon-to-be-politically-incorrect words like “pedophile” and “child molester.” (How does pedophobic grab you?) Not surprisingly, the featured speaker is Dr. Fred Berlin of Johns Hopkins University, a colleague of Dr. John Money. Child advocate, Dr. Judith Reisman disclosed that the conference is part of a strategy to condition people into accepting pedophiles: “The first thing they do is to get the public to divest from thinking of what the offender does criminally, to thinking of his emotional state…to empathize and sympathize…You don’t change the nation in one fell swoop, you have to change it by conditioning.”
Although first published nearly two decades ago, a special issue of The Journal of Homosexuality called “Male Intergenerational Intimacy” edited by three prestigious scholars (all PhD’s) gives us a taste of what is to come:
“In contemporary Western society, intimate sexual relations between men and boys are considered as immoral…regardless of the emotional contexts in which they occur [not according to Joel Marks and Peter Singer!]…the current social climate makes it rather difficult to look at these relationships in an objective way…man-boy relationships are not uncommon. As in homosexuality, man-boy sexuality occurs and not seldom in a context in which both partners consent…in these relationships a diversity of feelings are or can be expressed: affection, attachment, desire, domination and submission…men who feel attracted to boys have to legitimize their feelings toward themselves as well as towards society.”
All we are missing now is a scholarly “scientific” study which informs us that we have finally isolated a “man-child attraction” gene! An old German expression comes to mind: “So fangt es immer an”- “It always starts in the same way.” What also comes to mind are the lyrics of an old protest song from the 60’s: “And you tell me over and over again my friend, you don’t believe we’re on the eve of destruction?”

I have a different view.
The prime focus of God’s actions was to protect the Israelites who were chosen to bring forth the Messiah, God in the flesh, to redeem souls from death, to honor the promise made to the regretful and remorseful Adam by the appearance of a Second Adam who would be without sin.
When viewed thus, all the criticisms of God being ‘a vengeful God’ are put into context. God’s actions were to protect the coming of the Messiah.
Libtards believe that Christian ethics suppress vital inclinations. Libtards want a permissive morality that includes more and more perversions such as the above and things like incest and "genital associations".
We see by the horrific evidence unfolding before us that religious liberty and so-called “gay rights” cannot coexist in the same society. One must eventually give way to the other. America was no less free in the sane times when sodomites remained in the closet. But are we freer now that they are out of the closet and successfully turning the whole culture upside down? The answer *should* be obvious to everyone not brainwashed by the media.
It is a staircase with each step deliberately taken.

Not necessarily. I have found where God explains why.
Jeremiah 7
16 “As for you, do not pray for this people, and do not lift up cry or prayer for them, and do not intercede with Me; for I do not hear you. 17 Do you not see what they are doing in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem? 18 The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead dough to make cakes for the queen of heaven; and they pour out drink offerings to other gods in order to spite Me. 19 Do they spite Me?” declares the LORD. “Is it not themselves they spite, to their own shame?”

I don’t disagree with your premise about God’s intent but will point out that Sodom’s destruction occurred before the Israelites existed. It was contemporary with Abraham. His relative Lot lived there and the destruction came from fire descending from heaven after angels evacuated all of Lot’s family who wanted to leave. Not all of the, did.
The Book of Esther deals with the results of Saul’s failure. Almost caused a holocaust, (except for Gods secret intervention.)
It’s not. My question is, how can a 9 year old figure out that they are gay and a drag queen? This crap is coming from this kid’s parents. I also find it interesting that those parents who do not “assume their child’s gender” always seem to end up with a child that never seems to choose the gender they were born as biologically. But I’m sure there was no influence by the liberal parents..../s
