Never, never, never buy a home in an HOA community.Absolutely agree. Problem is, in many areas, if you want a new house, you have no choice but to get an HOA as well. I do not understand how someone can refuse to sell to you unless you are willing to abrogate your rights by signing over authority to an HOA.
