Considering the salary, health bennies, and pension the teacher draws for 180 days of work a year, this is pretty funny.
A pox on both their houses.

And NYS is going broke, in part, due to teachers pensions and healthcare bennies.

She is going to get a raise.

“Payou says that the board won’t press charges against Hargrave.”
That is rich!!!! Who says that they can? Maybe she will press charges on them.

most teachers I know may be in the classroom teaching 180-ish days a year but they work many more days per year than that in preparation and related things to being able to teach their students. Many use their own money to buy supplies etc not covered by what the school supplies.

School board is the easiest elected office in this country to kick an incumbent out of. Anyone can spend a little time and effort and effect change on a school board.

Meanwhile, school districts bloat themselves with overhead and overpaid staff who add little to no value to educating kids. Then, theres the multi million dollar sports programs....

In Texas, most successful football coaches in big school districts make more than the President. But they are worth it!
To: b4me
Pensions and health bennies are still unaffordable.
