You and Spiridon are right, and my comment was in the wrong. Sorry everyone, I honestly don’t know what happened. I was *sure* the article mis-spoke. I’m actually more than a little baffled and concerned. If this weren’t a big independent website I’d actually be considering it was family/friends giving me the gaslight treatment. I have no excuse, no explanation.
I would not lose any sleep over it, the article was poorly written.

My impression was the same as yours that planes employ air to ground missiles.
However the possibility exists that in addition to the attack by planes, the IAF fired ground to ground missiles in a separate attack.
bottom line...... I don’t know.
I don’t see how one can Overlook it. Syria is definitely Putin’s puppet and Iran is half a puppet. The bad thing what Iran is they will not listen to Putin when push comes to shove. And it might be at a time where scarily he is the most reasonable voice in the room.
