Rose McGowan, who openly criticized the call for a red carpet black-out in the weeks leading up to the awards show, took to Twitter Sunday to reiterate her stance after Italian actress Asia Argento voiced her support for McGowan.
"No one should forget that you were the first one who broke the silence," Argento tweeted at the former Charmed actress. "Anyone who tries to diminish your work is a troll and an enemy of the movement. You gave me the courage to speak out. I am on your side until I die."
McGowan doubled down on her disdain for the all-black Golden Globes fashion statement.
"And not one of those fancy people wearing black to honor our rapes would have lifted a finger had it not been so," she wrote. "I have no time for Hollywood fakery, but you I love, @AsiaArgento #RoseArmy."
Argento, one of Weinstein's many accusers, featured prominently in a New Yorker story about his sexual misconduct later tweeted about her own issue with the Golden Globes.
"I can only speak for myself but not only I wasn't invited to the #GoldenGlobes: nobody asked my opinion about #TIMESUP or to sign the letter," she wrote.
Rosanna Arquette, who also accused Harvey Weinstein of sexual misconduct last fall, chimed in when a Twitter discussion turned to whether or not any of the Weinstein survivors were invited to the awards ceremony.
"No we weren't invited" she tweeted.
During the awards ceremony Sunday night, many actresses chose to bring an activist as their date to further cement the industry's dedication to social change, including Meryl Streep, who walked the red carpet with Ai-Jen Poo, Director of the National Domestic Workers Alliance.
In December, Streep was the target of McGowan's wrath when the actress called out her for her "hypocrisy."

Oprah's speech was so cliche-ridden, hollow, and did nothing to truly address the situation.
Streep worked in a small town and associated with the Weinstein crowd and didn’t know........ is pure balderdash.
Thousands of miles away, at the NY Film School, young females were warned not to take jobs with the Weinstein Company.
Yet the media and liberals are all shocked and awed at Oprah’s speech. Now they want her to run for president, all because she spewed out some liberal pablum at a half assed awards show
The casting couch isn’t going anywhere. There are just as many aspiring female actresses who like the short-cut sure-fire pathway to stardom the couch provides as there are creepy, sleazy producers and directors who are all to happy to give them a ride.
I agree. Oprah’s speech was full of clichés. Surely she could have given a better speech.
Dont confuse the two issues......yes, some starlets AGREE to get on the casting couch.
What the issue is about now are starlets and filmdom females who REFUSED to have sex with Harvey or the others.....but were forced into it.
Her speech was: “I am a liberal black woman”. That is all they needed to hear.
its funny- your linke says “golden globes ratings rise” yet when you click on the link they story says they fell to a six year low...i was worried for a second..
Oprah is a sanctomonious self righteous bitch who wants to pretend that she didn’t know what was going on.

In the preliminary ratings, viewership fell 25% from the first hour to the third. Last year only 15% of viewers turned it off for the third hour.
