Chairman of the House Oversight Committee, Trey Gowdy, appears on Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo.
Some key takeaways: Remember, Gowdy is Chairman of the specifically purposed UniParty committee that drives investigations to no-where (FnF, IRS, Benghazi, emails etc.). As such, it is obvious between the spoken lines that Gowdy is positioned on HRC’s defensive flank; it is part of the UniParty fingerprint.
Secondly, mid-interview Mrs. Bartiromo is 100% accurate in her framework of the Strock described “insurance policy”; she gets it exactly correct. Thankfully, the beltway apparatus has wedged the investigations that really matter away from Roosterhead.
Accepting the current storyline, in combination with the conversation, it looks like the Clinton email and Clinton foundation investigations will likely go no-where. The investigation(s) that matter are how the FBI and DOJ handled the prior investigations and the mounting evidence against both agencies surrounding the 2016/2017 election corruption (Intel and Judiciary).

It’s actually for the survival of our country that the FBI/DOJ apparatus is held accountable for this, purged and then remade as better organizations. There probably should also be additional oversight installed to monitor the executive so this never happens again. On a good note, Trump is the perfect President to do this.
Unfortunately the price for this will be the Clinton’s, Obama and their cabal walking free.

I watched the video and came away with nothing new except that the congressman Trey Gowdy is a dweeb - I thought he was supposed to be kick ass. I didn’t get that impression at all. Incredibly cautious to the point of not being able to recognized common sense - another phony politician and what is with that hair don’t?

Wow, this is what MANY FReepers have been saying for years. He is full of bombast, insightful questions for witnesses, and puts people on the hot-seat, but, in the end ABSOLUTELY NOTHING comes of Gowdy's position on the committee. Sundance explains why. I had never really thought it was as bad as Gowdy "being on HRC's defensive flank." But that makes a lot of sense.
Typical “fashy” ‘do that seems to be popular everywhere all of a sudden. The shape of his head really doesn’t work with it, unfortunately.

Agree. It's a shaggy dog joke, and the joke is on us voters. I foresee the end of the Republican Party if this continues until November. Gowdy as "Roosterhead" is a perfect description.

I was severely berated on this site long ago for saying he is useless just like Daryl Issa and the other tough talking losers. I said NOTHING will come of anything they talk about because they are all part of the good ol’ boys network. It’s all just theater.
That is why they all fight so hard against President Trump. He doesn’t care who he pisses off.
