More details are emerging about an online gamer whose fake call to Kansas police led to a fatal shooting:
"After phoning in a false bomb threat to a Glendale, California TV station in 2015, Tyler Barriss threatened to kill his grandmother if she reported him, according to local reports and court documents." -- The Wichita Eagle
"The Glendale Police Department confirmed to ABC News that Tyler Barriss made about 20 calls to universities and media outlets

The date is 2018. Duh. Sorry.
A quick read of an article about the incident tells me that the cops shot the guy.
Whether he Swatted someone or didn’t, doesn’t really matter.
It seems that people are more worried about the guy, and his past, than why the cops shot an unarmed man, in his home, for no reason. Believe it or not, sometimes cops have to confront a “real, legitimate threat” before they can start blasting. Oh wait, I forgot, as long as they go home safe, at night, all is forgiven. Don’t worry about the unarmed, homeowner, in his own home, doing absolutely nothing wrong.
An alarming number of people (Freepers included) simply cannot grasp, nor believe that the cops are capable of murder or committing crimes. So when someone comes along and points out the rising numbers of murderous criminal cops, they begin to unspool...
Cognitive dissonance at work really...
Exactly. These were murders by the police regardless of the circumstances of the call. Let’s keep the focus on that.
“unspool”
Heh. I like that.
This pos needs to be shot, like he had an innocent man shot.
Im still kinda curious why the cops murdered an entirely innocent and unarmed man as soon as he opened his door.
So where’s the name and photo of the cop(s) who murdered Andrew Finch?
I’m not sure how much difference that makes.
We have the name and picture of the cop
who killed the Australian visitor in
Minnesota. He refuses to talk, but no one seems to mind.
He wasn’t a “Kansas SWAT perpetrator.” He was a California SWAT perpetrator.
