One of the most significant ways that liberals (specifically AGW/"Climate Change" adherents "flunk science" is that they totally lack a sense of proportion.

Specifically, they seem completely unable to comprehend powers of ten or orders of magnitude. For example, most of them don't have a working grasp or understanding of the difference between, "million" and "billion"...

Whenever one of them mouths off to me about "Gorebull Wahruming", etc., I give them this simple test:

Typical Lib answers range from, "Over NJ" to "Over DC"...

400 PPM (Parts Per Million) is the Gorebalists' currently claimed figure for the total fraction of the entire atmosphere that is CO₂. (The entire" pie", below...)

But, the total fraction of that 400ppm "pie" contributed by all of humankind since the start of the Industrial revolution is 11% of the whole:

Of course, that 11% of 400 PPM (the red "slice") is just 44 PPM!

Thing is, arguments made on the basis that CO2 is such a small fraction of the atmosphere, it can’t possibly harm you, is not a strong argument.

The amount of a substance need not be big in order to cause serious harm.

“”Botulinum toxin is the most poisonous substance known. A single gram of crystalline toxin, evenly dispersed and inhaled, would kill more than one million people.”

And there are may other substances that can kill you with very small doses.

There are much better arguments based on actual data for debunking the warmist’s religious belief. Here’s an excellent 13 minute video that presents them.
