I think it was a massive hit to Bannon’s oversized ego when he was fired. Before then, the stupid left looked at him as the brains behind this administration because they’re 100% certain that Trump is a certifiable idiot (lots of certifiable idiots find a way to make 10 billion dollars and defeat a stage full of seasoned politicians - not to mention the smartest woman alive - to win the Presidency, after all!).
When he was fired, Bannon not only became powerless, but meaningless. This is his way of not only getting revenge, but putting himself back into the spotlight. He’s every bit as much a worm as the scumbag author.

Why would anyone hire Bannon? He has proved that he will betray anyone that he works with. Nothing worse than a backstabbing traitor. No one will trust him and he will have no work.
