LONDON (Reuters) - The author of a book that is highly critical of Donald Trumps first year as U.S. president said his revelations were likely to bring an end to Trumps time in the White House.
Michael Wolff told BBC radio that his conclusion in Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House-- that Trump is not fit to do the job -- was becoming a widespread view.
I think one of the interesting effects of the book so far is a very clear emperor-has-no-clothes effect, Wolff said in an interview broadcast on Saturday.
The story that I have told seems to present this presidency in such a way that it says he cant do his job, Wolff said.
Suddenly everywhere people are going oh my God, its true, he has no clothes. Thats the background to the perception and the understanding that will finally end ... this presidency.
Trump has dismissed the book as full of lies. It depicts a chaotic White House, a president who was ill-prepared to win the office in 2016, and Trump aides who scorned his abilities.

The only people that will believe it are those that want to believe it. This piece of calumnious fiction will not convince the undecided.
Trump will probably use the media firestorm to quietly push through substantive policies and orders unpopular with the leftists.
Grenst marketing, Dems wil buy it en masse and then discover the next nothingburger.
Wolf, himself, admits he fabricates and misquotes

No what a disgusting worm, is this a hole Bannon and anyone else who betrayed the president.
The author of the book, has a background in URINALISM as shady as his name is, to anyone who hunts Wolfs.
Wolff appears to believe that in his desperate effort to lose the 2016 election, Trump ramped up his efforts to five giant rallies a day. Who knew the Deplorables would show up and vote?
Even though the guy (Wolff) admitted in an interview, yesterday, that he only spoke directly with the President a total of "approximately 3 hours", and DJT has only been in office for a year, I don't see how he could know all the things that it is supposed to appear that he knows in such a short amount of time with so little resources. I think I was listening to an interview with him by Megyn Kelly(?). He told her this and even members of the Trump family were saying he was "unfit to serve". I just can't believe that.
However, IMO, considering all the attention that the book is getting at the onset, I think the libs are going to hold it up as their "bible" and consider it complete and utter fact - "written and compiled by an insider". I saw a similar quote to this on the huffpo yesterday.
I think they'll be talking about this for the next 7 years that he is in office...or at least until the next book comes out.
Thank you for that insight about being "people pleasers". I believe it's a combination of that (ego based) and their "bleeding heart" feelings. Then there are the control mongers and followers of such (sheep). No matter their motives, they just don't use reason and are often irrational.
The sad part is that libs often DO have original thoughts, but fail to include logic or reason or unintentional consequences in their ego driven original thoughts and can't see that a particular thought can't work. If they feel it's right or want to "please" their control masters - it must be right. Such is the average BLM, AntiFA, college students and their teachers.
"Socialism works until you run out of other peoples' money." No truer words said, and California is the leading example. Yet, they keep trying because of our reasons stated above and continue to fail every time.
bttt
Why would anyone hire Bannon? He has proved that he will betray anyone that he works with. Nothing worse than a backstabbing traitor. No one will trust him and he will have no work.
He's got a bad case of "Self promote we much?"
I’d watch your back Wolffe.
For example, if California seceded, there would in all likelihood be a civil war within California...

If California secedes, the rest of the country is going to have the biggest going away party in the history of ever.
Trump has done amazingly well in his first year, and I look forward to an even more incredible 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th years.
Most on the left are already in need of straight jackets and rubber rooms, by year 8, hopefully most will have jumped off of high buildings.
Sounds like the title of this made up book should be BLUFF AND BLUSTER. I remember all the hit pieces on Republicans from the last 45 years.
“Backup plan”, aka”insurance”.
The DNC has discovered that money is drying up. This book and any other fantasy the mob dreams up is what the party needs to keep the spigot turned on. What it reveals about the college educated liberals who run their show is that they have zero understanding of what Franklin meant when he declared the Founding Fathers had given us “A Republic, if you can keep it.”
We should call this book Dossier 2.0 »
