President Trump ripped into the total loser author of the now-released tell-all book, Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House, claiming it was full of falsehoods, and also ratcheted up his feud with former adviser Steve Bannon.
Michael Wolff is a total loser who made up stories in order to sell this really boring and untruthful book, Trump tweeted Friday night in response to a critical graphic of the book posted by the Republican National Committee.
Donald J. Trump
@realDonaldTrump Michael Wolff is a total loser who made up stories in order to sell
this really boring and untruthful book. He used Sloppy Steve
Bannon, who cried when he got fired and begged for his job.
Now Sloppy Steve has been dumped like a dog by almost
everyone. Too bad! https://twitter.com/gop/status/949

Fire and Fury, which went on sale Friday and reportedly sold out in some places, sent shockwaves throughout the political world this week as vivid excerpts were released, but the books integrity has been questioned by critics, who have pointed out several inconsistencies in Wolffs reporting.
For example, Maggie Haberman, White House correspondent for the New York Times, accused Wolff of getting "basic details wrong" about Trump's campaign and administration.
"I believe parts of it and then there are other parts that are factually wrong," she said in an interview with CNN on Friday. "I can see several places in the book that are wrong. So for instance, he inaccurately describes a report in the New York Times. He inaccurately characterizes a couple of incidents that took place early on in the administration. He gets basic details wrong."
Similarly, Fox News host Laura Ingraham called the book total fabrication, and Washington Post reporter Mark Berman pointed out a passage where he was misidentified at a breakfast for a lobbyist named Mark Berman.
First Lady Melania Trumps spokesperson called it a work of fiction and pushed back on claims Melania wasnt happy when Trump won the election.
White House press secretary Sarah Sanders on Wednesday pushed back against some of the allegations made in the book and called it trashy tabloid fiction."
Henry Holt & Co., the books publisher, moved the release date up by four days after excerpts emerged, prompting Trump's legal team to submit a cease-and-desist letter to the publisher.
Content from the book led Trump to denounce Bannon, Trump's former chief strategist, after it was revealed Bannon said unflattering things about Trumps family.
Trump initially fired back, saying Bannon had "nothing to do with me or my presidency. When he was fired, he not only lost his job, he lost his mind."
Trump took it up another notch Friday night, recalling his scathing "Sloppy Steve" attack from Thursday, adding that Bannon "cried" when he was let go from the White House last year.
With Trump and Bannon's sudden feud, Bannon's financial support and future at Breitbart News, his far-right media site, have suddenly been cast into doubt.
Sanders even suggested Thursday that Breitbart should consider severing ties with its executive chairman.
Donald has vented. Now he should just sit back and let this book fade away into obscurity.
“Sloppy Steve”
Damn, that’s funny!
He is destroying Bannon forever.

Agreed. Don't give the tabloid trash author anymore undeserved attention. Wolff acted like a total weenie on the one interview I watched and he doesn't rate the further attention of the president. Sarah will be answering questions for weeks about it and she's great at her job; let your people do the talking from this point on.
The president needs to be on point, making the case for the positive economic and employment numbers. The haters will keep on hatin' but Twitter is his forum which gets his unfiltered message out day after day.
Either Wolff has everything on Tape and he names names or most of it is proven to be a work of Fiction and all those Liberal types who are happily slapping the Monkey while reading it just wasted their money and will only end up with some bad chafing and a badly stained Book they can’t return.
Something akin to George Costanza taking that Book into the Restroom at the Book Store...
Agree. He will always be Sloppy Steve.
No one can make things stick to people like DJT. Never saw anything like it.
If there was ever an image that could turn a pro-lifer into a pro-choicer, that pic of Michael Wolff would be it.
The book is insurance policy #2 against Trump by the ruling class and their agents.
“Sloppy Steve has been dumped like a dog..”
Gave him a double tap. Just to be sure. Heck, if Bannon leaked classified data, he could end up in deep trouble. Which is probably why he is quiet as a mouse.
When NY Times and WaPo reporters are trashing the work of a fellow Libtard, we know it is really awful.
Bannon learned a harsh lesson: That old cliche, Keep your friends close and your enemies closer, doesnt always hold true. He played games with liberals and lost everyone.
Wolff was a well-known hack going way back. Why would anyone have ever spoken a single word to him? The only thing anyone should say to him is “Get the F away from me!”
That’s what I told my wife too.. This clown is a total hack and it goes to the personal judgement of the individual that granted him an interview. Anyone that speaks to a journalist or “author” on background or “off the record” for a book, should be fired because they lack the judgement to be part of the administration.
Nothing is ever “off the record”..
A best-selling total loser.
