Are you aware that Bannon is a multi-millionaire from his prior business interests?

And Bannon’s silence is deafening

Actually, I didn’t know that...guess I’ll have to change the meme, or at least the meaning of the acronym SLOB.

But, he IS a slob, and there’s more ways to leech off billionaires than just the money...power, influence, and notoriety.

Thanks for the correction.

“And Bannon’s silence is deafening”

I can hear him screaming much like I tend to hear Karl Rove screaming when things go wrong :-) .

I’m kind of happy that a creation similar to Karl Rove has been seemingly thwarted. Once they establish themselves, they’re *really* hard to get rid of ... I thought Karl would have been relegated to “joke” status outside of FR after his 2012 meltdown on live TV ... that isn’t the case, sadly.

Yes, it is bad. Probably more coming if we can deduce from this wordy betrayal and blabbed to the benefit of the other side (Wolf clearly is not one of us). It’s astounding. Why, Steve?

I am still having difficulty believing Bannon did this, (it makes no sense) and that this isn’t some sort of fake out/diversion for the commies to focus on while DJT takes out the bad guys. I guess time will tell.

Me, too. From what I’ve gathered, the problem is Bannon’s take on Ivanka, Kushner and Donald Jr. Does Bannon owe loyalty to THEM?

Something has happened to Steve. imho. His appearance is a tell, in important public settings as in Alabama.

A man in good health is normally not inclined to habitually look like a jobless, scroungey unshaven hobo, to the point that it actually becomes a distraction, even to his message.

Verbally he spoke as if in command of the nation’s sure future, visually he looked like he was falling apart, like a train wreck. People wondered what the hell??? What a contrast. They had not seen him like this before.

I’m sorry for him, personally, but in this great battle I for one can’t use him, that’s for sure.

In a society where it's regular fare for people to wear their pajamas to the grocery store or out to eat, Bannon's style is (sadly) a cut above.

But I will say that, as a woman, it has sickened me for years now, to see an increasing number of men in America adopting the look of beached whale with a beard (Yeah,.. Why do men not shave anymore???? Does anyone know?), who for some unknown reason cannot figure out how to tuck their shirts in.

Yeah, I agree that Bannon is pretty sloppy in his appearance.

Maybe it doesn’t bother me as much as it does other people, because I’m even worse in that respect.

And while I’d probably try to be a little neater if I was a public figure, It doesn’t make him a lesser man, nor incorrect in his analyses.

And like a few others, I’m having a hard time believing any of the recent stories are true. I’m leaning more towards thinking that this just as easily could be a big act between Trump and Bannon to distract the media and the peasants from something important.

I disagree on the shaving, it is quite attractive and normal for a man to have a beard, mustache, or goatee...when kept trimmed. God gave men facial hair, it is a distinguished look to some of us! Not interested in the ‘Robertson Look’...lol

AS for sloppy, I don’t like that any more than you do. I think a clean man, in clean clothes is attractive. Shirts, golf shirts and T shirts are mostly non tuck styles today. It is all a matter of what appeals to you, and the older styles were tucked in and class. I’m more casual and less formal....to each his own, I guess.

I always felt that he looked like an unhealthy alcoholic. I have no idea if he drinks or not, but he sure doesn’t look well. Drinking might explain his apparent loose lips.

Was Bannon privy to phone conversations Trump had with foreign leaders? So was Bannon the guy leaking Trump’s phone conversations with foreign leaders earlier?

I’ve heard that much of his money is from his involvement in the “Seinfeld” show.

But it's not about you. It's about Trump, who is fanatic about polished appearances and the look of success. He has made his fortune on high-quality branding on top of excellent content. A slovenly person is almost morally offensive to him in the same way it would be to a drill sargeant—to him, it's a lack of discipline and high professionalism.

Trump is not in the Oval Office to have his morality challenged by Bannon's defiant narcissism, getting in people's face with his disarray the same way Michelle Obama purposefully offended with many of her clothing choices, like the time she wore a dress with black splotches on white to visit the Gulf oil spill victims.

Bottom line, Trump was the client. Bannon was the supplier. Bannon needed to respect that. He failed.
