How would the ensuing reveal(s) and corresponding judicial action(s) have turned out any better if Sessions hadn't recused himself?

I recognize that since everything appears to now be moving in the direction of actually draining the swamp, perhaps I'm now just attempting to rationalize a prior series of poor moves that possibly jeopardized Trump's agenda.

But, does it seem credible that it's just pure luck that the tide was turned, what with Mueller as SC and Sessions recused? Don't you find it hard to accept - at least at face value - just how much has changed and momentum reversed, even with Sessions (seemingly) out of action?

Miracle or forethought? What's intriguing is that so many pretty bright people are having difficulty reconciling so much conflicting information.

Not at all, and with all respect that's a silly question coming from you as you're usually significantly more insightful. We were well aware of the Clinton crimes before the election, but a corrupt FBI and DOJ refused to prosecute them. Now we have a Republican President, and a Republican Congress, and an emboldened conservative media, with major new stars like John Soloman and Sara Carter.

So it should be perfectly expected that the obvious crimes, and now the attempted cover up, and misdirection play, would come to light with a change of party at the top. And the reason the Democrats were caught so red handed, is they thought there was no way Hillary would lose.

The shameful, if not disgraceful part of this, is that instead of everyone being able to focus on the crimes of the Democrats, our President has been unfairly saddled with a special prosecutor investigating him, and arresting his former campaign chairman, his former national security advisor, and other campaign officials, apparently based on a bogus FISA warrant. A special prosecutor that wouldn't have ever been appointed if Sessions had not recused himself, and had stood his ground in defense of the President from unfair prosecution as previous AG's have. So precious resources, and time, have been lost in defense of unfair if not illegal attacks on the President

Now we also have an AG who can't even execute the job of the AG and is having to delegate to an already overloaded Deputy AG, while there are questions as to the trustworthiness of that deputy, that the President himself has voiced. Not to mention Sessions bears some responsibility on the loss of his Senate seat to the Democrats.

I could go on, but this is so obvious, it's rather boring to have to explain it over and over for those who appear to unusually obtuse on this subject. So this post in itself is EVEN MORE wasted resources, taken from the true fight that needs to be fought, while we argue over to what degree Sessions is wounded. He is wounded, clearly in some manner, and if he had any true respect for the mission of bringing justice to the Democrats who deserve it most, he would resign, since he's unable to work on it. But he only cares about himself, and his pet issues which hardly justify the full time focus of the AG, especially with all the extremely controversial and objectionable things going on in the DOJ right now.

Blumenthal is on CNN right this minute, going on and on about how great an AG Sessions has been, and how Trump shouldn’t be allowed to fire him, etc.
