They are doing this to distort raw milk, which is better for you than pasteurized milk, providing the cow is healthy.
Raw water is not safe like raw milk. They are trying to use the same phraseology to legitimize untreated water.
Raw milk is not safe either unless cows are regularly tested. I would and have drank raw milk from cows we had since we only had a couple and knew how they were kept. If someone is running a dairy operation selling raw milk I would not touch that- too easy for cows to get ill or milk to get contaminated in handling. I only drink raw milk if I milk the cow or someone I trust does. Never would I buy raw milk from a farmer’s market or similar. That is just me.
All unpasteurized milk has bacteria in it.
I grew up with both raw milk, and well water, and have lived for a couple of weeks at a time drinking out of mountain streams while on hunting trips. I just try to make sure and let the horse drink downstream from me, just in case. The water up high in the mountains tastes like when you let a snowball melt in your mouth, which it should.
We also used to bring in an occasional wild honeycomb, eat it with our fingers, comb and all!
I spent my spare time hunting, fishing, riding motorcycle, driving race cars, breaking and showing horses.
I’m still alive
