It’s going to be interesting to see how Jones operates.

He could pull a Shelby and change parties, but I don’t see that happening.

He could try and be a conservative democrat and hope he’ll sway enough GOP voters over to be reelected, but I don’t see that happening in this day and age. Conservative voters won’t vote for the guy no matter what.

He could just try to appeal to the left and do all the damage he can, knowing that he won’t be elected again.

I guess we’ll see.

His time is still limited. If Jones because a Republican, he'd be sure to attract a serious primary challenge.

Somebody as pro-death as he is will have a very difficult time voting the way the majority of people in his state would want him to.
