Donald Trump Jr slammed former White House advisor Steve Bannon on Wednesday after it was reported that Bannon claimed last July that his meeting with a Russian lawyer was "treasonous" and there's "zero" chance his father didn't know about it.
"Steve had the honor of working in the White House & serving the country. Unfortunately, he squandered that privilege & turned that opportunity into a nightmare of backstabbing, harassing, leaking, lying & undermining the President. Steve is not a strategist, he is an opportunist," Don Jr. wrote on Twitter.

LOL....... Mooch was a pretty cool guy.
Not to mention if he had any sense at all he would never have discussed anything - innocent or not- with this particular nutty book writer, Wolff.
That’s an example of narcissism overriding prudence.
Is Bannon in any way connected to VIPS’ Ray McGovern? He might be a LaRouchie, as they have these Jeckle and Hyde bipolar episodes... esp where Iran and Israel are concerned.
Expecting Bannon to commit himself to a rehab center soon.

hmmm .....
I agree with all that, especially since the books author, Wolff, seems to be a known liar.
A known liar who claims to have taped his interviews. No wonder there’s been no Bannon denial.
Face it - if not for Bannon, we woudn’t have a dem Senator from Alabama being seated - Bannon has decided his agenda outweighs Trump’s agenda and his fouling up the works bothers him not a whit.
One possible reason for the silence from Bannon:

He just finished up six hours of Breitbart radio on SiriusXM in 12 hours—but was careful not to comment on his comments while also praising Trump’s first year.
No that does not stop him from saying Wolffs Book is made up of fake quotes.... that he never said those things
More interesting is that Wolff claims to have tapes of Bannons interviews with him
Excellent point.
But on Steve Bannon's page, Wikipedia says "Bannon was a founding member of the board of Breitbart News... On August 18, 2017, Breitbart announced that Bannon would return as executive chairman following his White House employment."
So it's not clear whether Bannon replaced Solov as CEO or is another level of chairman above or below Solov. Nor is it clear about the proportion of ownership; last fall, Bob Mercer announced he would sell his stake in Breitbart to his daughters.
Either way, Bannon is not the owner. Hence, he probably can be fired by Breitbart, as Milo was when he overstepped.
