Few details (was a warhead carried, test of missile only, test of missile and dummy warhead/re-entry mechanism, etc. Second-hand reports only.
But it shows the liberal hysteria about Trump's resolve, doesn't it.
His button didn’t work did it?
Rut ro.
No, no. His “Launch” button worked just fine.
His “Land” button ? Not so well.
A preemptive nuclear strike is absolutely mandatory. Waiting is madness.
Unbelievable! You really couldn’t sell this as a plot to a movie!
Oooh a rocket failure? Trump should use stealth jets to laser Rocket Man’s ICBMs andn IRBMs while they are on their launch pads. Stealthy and quite. Burn holes in them from afar. Maybe he does LoL.
Could we have interfered?
So that whole button on the desk thing was a threat at his own countrymen.
On April 28, 2017, North Korea launched a single Hwasong-12/KN17 intermediate-range ballistic missile (IRBM) from Pukchang Airfield in South Pyongan Province (the Korean Peoples Armys Air and Anti-Air Force Unit 447 in Ryongak-dong, Sunchon City, to be more precise). That missile failed shortly after launch and crashed in the Chongsin-dong, in North Korean city of Tokchon, causing considerable damage to a complex of industrial or agricultural buildings.
Above from a London paper (Diplomat) story released tonight.
Yes, I see that now. As the poster you are kind of responsible for providing links and such. Just saying.
Here’s one.
“North Korea hits OWN CITY with missile as Japan fear accidental strike by CLUELESS regime UPDATED: 03:27, Thu, Jan 4, 2018”
Sure, give South Korea's air force some bombs and let them decide if they want to live next to a radioactive graveyard. Not our problem (for now.)
Yes it refers to the April 2017 failed launch.
“Trump should use stealth jets to laser Rocket Mans ICBMs andn IRBMs while they are on their launch pads.”
A cheaper and much less dangerous alternative would be to use drones loaded with explosives and smash them into each ICBM on its pad. In the future, just keep drones patrolling up and down both coasts, mostly with dummy loads for the Rocket Man dummy.
Sum ting Wong. :-)
If true, this will be a serious black eye to the South Korean military.
Yesterday, a number of USA news organizations claimed that North Korea was preparing for a launch.
This morning, the spokesman for the South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff stated that there was no evidence whatever that the North Koreans were preparing for a launch.
Whoops!
