Any legislation providing amnesty or some other form of relief for these so called “Dreamers” is totally unnecessary. Under the current immigration laws if an alien has been physically present in the US for at least ten years they become eligible for suspension of removal provided that their only crime is illegal entry. This puts the responsibility and expense on the dreamer since an Immigration Judge would have to decide each case individually.

"Dreamer" is just a PC euphemism for "anchor baby." Illegals bring their spawn here knowing that if the kids won't get deported, they won't be deported either.

Any compromise on DACA will just encourage more illegals to bring their children here as the next wave of "Dreamers."

And the entire southwest including states like AZ, and TX will finally turn blue in ten years (maybe five years in AZ) and the country will be LOST as no other conservative will ever win POTUS.

He can stand up and say he has tried to come up with a solution but the Rats are obstructionists, the term they have always used against the GOP.

DACA is amnesty.

Any policy towards illegals must - MUST - address the incentives that are set up by that policy. Are you incentivizing more to try their hand at illegal entry or are you incentivizing them to stay home and apply through the legal process?

With 600 million people south of our porous non-existent southern border and untold millions outside the Americas who might also avail themselves of this easy access, there can be only one immigration policy -

Stop giving prizes

for illegal entry.

Any measure that permits those who entered illegally to benefit from that illegal act is amnesty. And any amnesty will bring millions more invaders.

This must be stopped.

Every poll, including the non-fake ones by semi-objective sources says the majority of Americans support DACA. In the FR echo chamber, not so much...but it will probably happen anyhow, and there will be a net benefit for Trump.
