“MJ was illegal for a looooong time. Had it been legal over the past 100 years, Im pretty sure the death rate would be right up their with tobacco and alcohol.”
You don’t have to speculate. From 1921 through 1933, MJ was legal and alcohol was illegal. There should be all kinds of death reports, especially since Progressives who ran the government were hot to prohibit all manner of things.
Time will tell.
Alcohol was always considered the more “social” of the two vices when compared to MJ. Pardon my speculation.
It wasn’t that “ladylike” to take a drag on a hand rolled MJ as opposed to a mixed drink or a very very long filter ciggie.
p.s. back from 1921-1933 there were few women drivers.
we are talking about women who jump behind the wheel, toke, text, you name it whilst driving.
