You aren't kidding! I grew up loving music, starting with what my parents listened to. Andy Williams, Perry Como, Frank Sinatra, etc. Then the Beatles came along and I went the rock 'n' roll route, much to my parents' dismay. LOL!
The years I lived in Raleigh, I worked in clubs with live bands and lived, breathed, and loved the music. But when "grunge" hit the scene it started going downhill and I lost interest in most music past the '80s.
I dropped it completely after 1992 and went back to my first love — classical music.
