Actually it's a pretty high poverty state, most industry was driven out by the RATs, so we have low income jobs, plenty of welfare parasites including Somalians, and then, the ultra-rich (most of whom get the hell out during Winter)
A lot of us work for the rich, as it should be, repairing and keeping an eye on their estates in their absence.
There are a lot of areas with two entirely different economies depending on the season. It really makes one creative to get good reliable income year after year.
This year I really enjoyed Bath, Georgetown on the Kennebec and Boothbay Harbor.
