Seems like fake news calculated to push people's buttons, nothing more.

Upon reading this article the dept. hired 20-25 people who speak Hebrew, and specializes in Israeli law as well as French. The DGFiP has people specializing in the law of numerous nations in the OECD agreement, Israel included. The claim that they're targeting Jews is based on the opinion of someone that it is "irregular" to have so many people speaking Hebrew, instead of 1 or 2. Someone's opinion extrapolated into a very serious assertion.

Also, no idea if this is true or not but FWIW I've read multiple sources, including the a response from the French government itself, saying that the Ministry of Economy and Finance building only has 9 floors. That would make it hard to stick a "secret department" on the 13th floor, wouldn't it?
