Have you been paying attention? The Mullahs ARE the really bad guys. They started out with Carter's blessing. Even though Carter pulled the rug out from the Shah, they took the opportunity to take American hostages. The hostages were released the same day Reagan was sworn in as POTUS, since they didn't want to mess with him.
My concern is that President Trump should not encourage them unless he really plans to help them. I'm not sure how that help would occur.
I suspect that the Russians would be the only party who would step in to help the Mullahs. They seem to like dealing with Bad Actors. I suppose that they think that Mullahs make suitable puppets who help to mask Putin's bad intentions.

I do not see that happening. Lot’s of changes have been going on in the Middle East in 2017 like what is occurring in Saudi Arabia for instance. President Trump and our allies in the Middle East are not afraid to kill all the “Really Bad Guys” unlike Obama.

As others here have already pointed out, the mullahs ARE the “really bad guys.” I have zero tolerance anymore for Libertarian isolationism. This moment with Iran may well present a golden opportunity to overthrow the Islamist government and thereby avoid what will otherwise inevitably require a brutal war. Iran’s nuclear ambitions are no less dangerous than North Korea’s, and wishing them away or fantasizing about “containment” will not forestall the threat. Their nuclear threat WILL have to be ended, one way or another. Personally, I would prefer to do it by supporting their people in their effort to exterminate the Islamist vermin in their midst.
This situation is not analogous to what Obama and Hillary did to Libya or Egypt. The Iranian people are ALREADY suffering under an Islamist dictatorship (your “really bad guys”). We should expend every effort, both covert and if necessary overt, to support this uprising.

This is a regime that sent young children into mine field with golden keys around their necks, telling them they were on the way to their promised 70 virgins. You left off the sarcasm tag. The Really Bad Guys are already in charge in Iran. Obama failed to support the Green Revolution in Iran. Trump is supporting the people. That is a good thing.
There was no doubt when Obama cranked up the Arab Spring - this is just Iranian People feeling a bit of hope because of Trump.
