Bingo, I read they are a highway for Afgani drugs out of the region and help launder the funds, is that correct?
Oh, the good ole days!
I became aware of the Iranian situation only today here on FR. There’s talk of a media blackout on events there. The Left, Soros, & MSM don’t want regime change in Teheran; they stick to the Obama position of using Iran to weaken U.S. influence in the region & in the world generally.
So if DJT’s on it, that’s great, he’s a lot smarter than me. I’m still getting accustomed to a President who is taking care of business in a flash.
Untrue....they are calling for the Shah son
Agreed
Huh? What?! Soros supports the mullahs. Your comment makes no sense.
Got me there. Muslim Winter then.
I believe we still have many Obama holdovers in our intel agencies and State working on behalf of their interests in Iran. Follow the money (Gazprom, nuclear industry, etc.).
The Iranian students here are fairly liberal. Their women don’t wear a hijab and the male students don’t allow pictures of them so it doesn’t get seen by people in Iran. My daughter interviewed some female Iranian students for a school project.
I remember when she was killed. During beginning of #IranElection phase on Twitter.

Use a truck to get ten guns and then drive a bomb laden car into the ayatollahs house.
Iran killed hundreds of our troops during the Iraq war. We need to pay them back BIGLY!!!!
Brilliant and doable.
Persian Spring? Will the Sauds be helping?
Like the Ceausescu Moment?
“Between Amaechi and Ceausescu”
http://www.osundefender.com/between-amaechi-and-ceausescu/
“There was nothing unusual about the day. All listened. None moved. Suddenly, an unnamed woman shouted, Liar! It was shocking she dared because he wielded much power over Romanians. Ceausescu continued his speech but the woman shouted again, Liar! A few others took up the refrain and before long, many more joined. They not only shouted, they grew restless. Ceausescu realised that the crowd was going out of control. He fled.”
Are we approaching the Iranian Ceausescu Moment?
Read the article. It is pretty well written. Not recent, but still valid.
When the people of a nation who have long been abused, overcome the fear of death then those spontaneous moments can happen. That is exactly what happened to Ceausescu.
One little old lady called him a liar. He was standing on a high 2nd story building balcony far removed from the crowd below. They got into an argument and the woman persisted. He became afraid and the crowd turned on him. Less than 48 hours later he and his wife were dead.
It did happen.
This sort of thing may happen soon in Venezuela. If the people had not been disarmed, it would have already been done.
