Then, I blurted out what was in my heart: “I’d also like to . . . just say how insane it is that in the United States of America a civilian can go out and buy a semiautomatic weapon like an AR-15.”

If that is what is in his heart, then he has no place in the Trump administration anyway. I'm glad he revealed his contempt for the Constitution BEFORE he was able to worm his way in to the bureaucracy.
