Remember that in 0bama's first year, Independents were 30 percent of the vote and they gave 52 percent of that vote to Barack Obama. Their support for him has been in a straight decline. It's down to about 39 percent.
He became Pres. with less than that.
The entrenched media will make sure his popularity is never shown above 50%. I’m still trying to figure out how they will credit the strong economy that is busting out every where to anything or anyone but him. Unemployment at a 17 year low, biggest christmas shopping season ever, and consumer confidence at an all time high. All of this started on Wednesday, November 9th, 2016.
It’s actually 75% approval all over America except for the East and West coastlines.
The same polls that had hillary at a 98% chance the morning of the election? Yeah, I can really believe that (sarcasm)
Now that the POTUS is showing real leadership does actually accomplish positive things for the citizens, I expect Trump’s approval numbers will continue to slowly rise.
Better a slow rise due to the voters actually experiencing the effects of the tax bill, and seeing the imminent demise of ISIS in the ME, and having a presidential family celebrating Christmas.
Relieving us of the burden of excessive PC talk especially during this holiday season has helped too. I have enjoyed so much saying Merry Christmas to everyone!
It bothers me that Trump is using the stock market as a measure of his success. I don’t want him to be tied to a market correction so he better keep an ace in the hole where he can blame the Dem’s for any market correction.

Two things that you can count on. One, Forget political polls...all of them!!! Two, You can bank on it that the entire Democrat Party will get politically slaughtered in the upcoming Mid-Term elections of 2018. Democrats will lose ten to twenty House seats and they will lose between six to twelve Senate seats. Case closed.

He’s got the same end-of-first-year approval rating as Buttcrack Hussein. The difference is that Hussein’s rating was always revised up while Trump’s is revised down.
