It seems non-Turkish and non-Kurdish Sunnis need some group representing them, but at the moment these Jihadist groups hijacked their leadership.

Saudi, Qatar, UAE has spent a lot of money on the Jihadists and they + Russia and Syria have infiltrated their leadership. It is not easy to guess what will happen.
