Article dismisses the fact basically all of the reported hate crimes that made news were also faked by the victim who was really the perpetrator.

They should all be fined and have to do felony jail time. Double the sentences actual criminals would have been able to receive. Only way to stopthis crap from occurring.

These crimes are lies and they ruin innocent people, they stir up hostility between groups based on lies, they make a mockery of the justice system as a ignorant tool for their agenda, and undermine everyones faith in the justice system and political system that tries to make policy based on phony incidents. The penalties need to be far more severe.

A good suggestion for Trump and Congress. Amend the federal "hate crimes" statute to make faking such crimes a level higher than such a crime would have been.

We'd likely see zero "hate crimes" for years.
