Start charging these pinheads, and watch the quantify of such incidents plummet. As it stands, these are no-lose incidents for most of the perps.

It is not within the preview or authority of the police chief to determine what is or is not in the best interest of the community or who should be charged. That is up to the prosecutor.

Is it in the best interests of the community to have all these fake hate crimes causing unrest between the races? NO.
